Session 6: reproducible prototype and handoff

The final checkpoint delivers a reproducible customer-database walkthrough, complete command documentation and a supported/unsupported feature matrix. All six planned sessions are complete.

Fresh CI checkouts ran the compiled CLI on PostgreSQL 16.10 and 17.6. Both walkthroughs applied six operations, preserved both synthetic customer rows, independently verified the target, rejected stale replay and detected injected drift without repair. The harness cleaned up only its isolated schema; migration history remained until disposable database teardown.

The repository includes actual plans, before/after rows, JSON reports and transcripts from both runs. Follow the walkthrough to generate artifacts for a fresh isolated schema. Captured plans are evidence of their original states, not instructions to apply to another database.

The prototype remains unreleased. Following the owner’s subsequent decision, the engine and original website work are licensed under Apache License 2.0. External DDL must be paused during apply. General crash recovery, destructive evolution, backfills, other databases and an online editor remain outside the demonstrated contract. The resume checkpoint is the final handoff; further work awaits owner direction.
